Hey, does anyone know what happened on the "Waiting for Sophie" blog?
There are alot of comments on the Christmas entry about Sophie feeling better.  Is she sick??  And then the Isabella and Oliver blogs are both taken down.  What's up with that?  Did something happen?

I don't know. I've been dying to know. I've read the cmments and speculation. I wish she'd just post already!! i am really worried!

What's the speculation?? Just that she's sick or that there is something specific going on?

what's the blog address? Do you remember when you were asking about the little girl that was someone's referral that looked familiar? Do you remember whose referral that was? I was looking at the waiting children's pictures on a website today and I SWEAR it's the same girl that you were asking about. It now says that she's been matched with her forever family but her pic is still up on the site, and all the others that have been matched have had the photos pulled.

And, I remember asking the question, but I don't remember what kiddo it was. I think I received a response from Grechen that the little girl was one that they had considered. And that's how I'd seen her picture. Is this HOLT's photolisting that you're seeing her one still? But I can't rememeber if that's how it was resolved or not.

No, I was on Dillon's and Faith's waiting children. The girl I saw was on Dillon. It may not be the same girl. I dunno.

She dropped me like a rotten egg after she decided not to adopt from Vietnam. Yes, I am bitter. I have no idea what's going on, I'm no longer in the "inner circle" of Shana.

(Sorry, it just hurt my feelings a lot.)

I don't know what happened. I've noticed a lot of blogs that have dissappeared lately. I've just been getting caught back up in the past couple of days. So much has happened with so many different people. Do either of you know anything positive about FTIA's VN adoption program? Just wondering (for selfish reasons!).

You might want to email Nicki directly on this one but I hear soemthing about FTIA being affiliated with ADOPPT. On Nicki's blog, she has a list of agencies that she considers on the up-and-up. She's been really good about keeping track of these things...oh I just looked it up and FTIA is on her list. You might want to ask her the specs on that.

FTIA does IAD-matching. They are a fabulous agency, extremely ethical, although they recently up and replaced their program director out of the blue so that is really weird. Also their referrals trickle in soooo slowly. I think they've only given out a half dozen referrals in the last year :-/

I don't know if she's in Nicole's filter to see this thread but Kate uses FTIA, I believe. She can tell you tons about them.

Did you see she posted today? I figured it was probably the rotovirus that the baby had. Scary. But what the heck - she deleted every post and picture on Sophie's blog that mentioned either other child. Did she have to give them back to foster care? She said she wishes they had never come which must mean that they are not even staying with the kids. Becuase I doubt she would have said that JUST about Sophie getting rotovirus if she still had the other two kids too? Curioser and curioser....

Thanks for pointing that out. my computer was loading the cached page and not giving me the newest post. I'm really interesting. I'm betting they don't have the kids anymore. Honestly, i think they're a sweet and wellmeaning family but I think they're best suited to have just one kid. They give too much adornment to Sophie to think that they'll be able to share that with 3 kids fairly. IMHO

I agree- maybe adding one child at a time, but to take on a special-needs 5 year old AND an infant at once? Sophie must have had her heart broken when she realized she was no longer the only one.
