So I've been MIA on this blog because most you have followed me over to my regular place of post. www.raisinganimals.com
I've kept that blog since 2005 - it archives everything. This blog has mostly been kept for a very small group of friends.

Hey, does anyone know what happened on the "Waiting for Sophie" blog?
There are alot of comments on the Christmas entry about Sophie feeling better. Is she sick?? And then the Isabella and Oliver blogs are both taken down. What's up with that? Did something happen?
xoxo

So, Diesel's been having some issues with potty training. Back in June we had him set; he was even going dry most nights. Now, it's easier to count the number of successful trips to the potty than it is to count the "accidents". I understand the period of adjustment for Kinhly arriving but really it's getting worse faster than it's getting better. Today we've had zero successes and almost 6 accidents (including 1 poop in the pants, which was not pretty!) I just don't know what to do. I'm at my wits end. I'm getting angry with him because his only answer to my question about the issue is, "it's ok mom, it's just an accident."
Is getting mad the wrong thing to do? If I just accept it and work around it, am I encouraging it??
(And keep in mind that Diesel gets ALOT of one-on-one time with both Matt and I. While things obviously aren't the same around here, we make sure that Diesel gets all the time he requests. So, I guess that's why I don't believe that this can be 100% a cry for attention.)

OMG, some one entertain me in some way...I'm SSOOO bored.
Matt's at "fight night", Diesel's headed to bed and I'm almost bored enough to do homework.

Don't you hate it when every glass and every piece of flatware in your house is dirty?
You may ask yourself, "OMG! How long has it been since she did dishes?!"
My answer would be, "24 hours. Just 24 hours."

Do either of you experienced mommies have any potty training tips for me?
We've tried the whole, "just put them in underwear, he'll hate being wet" thing, and Diesel could care less. The same goes for the, "get a basket of new toys and everytime he does it successfully, give him a new one" thing, and Diesel either find where I'm hiding them or losses interest in them too fast to care. He'll poop just fine on the potty, and does when I catch him in time, but he won't let me know when he has to pee, and would rather just hold it and pee in the underwear.
Christina, Nicki, you both have boys that have gone through this potty thing, how did you do it? Pearls of wisdom, please! Is it a bad thing to have a 4 year old who's not trained yet?
